Q: I can't connect?

A1: Check if Bluetooth is activated on your smartphone/tablet?

A2: Does the green LED on the thermometer light up when you press the red button briefly?

A3: If you still cannot connect to the GFOXX, perform a reboot. To do this, you have to hold down the activation button for about 20 seconds. Then the status LED flashes 4 times. The reboot is comparable to restarting your mobile phone or PC.

A4: Reboot your phone or tablet, do a full reset.

A5: If the GFOXX still cannot be connected, the runtime has apparently expired or the battery is empty. Please note the service life depending on the GFOXX device in the description of the properties.

A6: If you think the GFOXX is defective, please send it back to us and we will check it and send a replacement free of charge.

 

Q: The GFOXX cannot be synced?

A1: If the GFOXX is active and displays the correct temperature and still cannot be synced, then the Bluetooth stack of the mobile device has "hung". A complete restart of the mobile device usually helps to fix this. It has also happened that you have to leave the device switched off for a day. This has to do with the mobile devices and not with the GFOXX devices. Alternatively, please use another device to read the data.
